Agricultural development trust fund advisory committee schedules December meeting

The Agricultural Development and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund Advisory Committee is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, December 2 at 1:30 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Hall of Fame Room at the Agriculture Building, located at 2 W. Edenton St., Raleigh.

During the session, committee members will review the trust fund’s budget and open contracts. They will also hear reports concerning open conservation easement projects, updates on county program maps, grant monitoring efforts, stewardship activities, and a status report regarding recent and upcoming easement closings.

Additional topics include updates on the program calendar and rules, local partnerships, as well as federal collaborations with military entities and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). An update on Cycle 19 grant applications is also on the agenda.
